The Staffelsee
Take a stroll or ride your bike along the shores of the Staffelsee, and stop for a drink or more at one of the many beer gardens and restaurants dotting its shores, the closest one in Uffing being only a 10 minute walk from the house. From May to October, take a swim in its quick-warming waters. In the winter, if it has been cold for long enough, you may ice skate on the lake or join the locals for a game of "Eisstockschießen" ...
